Barça will play the second game of the preseason in Tangiers (Morocco) on July 28. FC Barcelona will also be putting together a series of social events in association to the match.
The announcement was made by the vice president for the Social Area Jordi Cardoner i Casaus, and the director of the Marketing and Commercial Area Laurent Colette in a press conference in the Ricard Maxenchs at the Camp Nou on Wednesday.
Barça will play against the Moroccan local national team, which will be led by Moroccan coach Rachid Taoussi, who recently won three titles with the Moroccan team Maghreb of Fez.
This is the third time in the club’s history that it plays in Morocco. The club returned to Casablanca five years later where it played a friendly against the WAC of Casablanca, which the Spanish team won (0-3) .
