Clock Cinema

Much attention has been given lately to the fact that local cinemas are a dying breed here in Morocco. Here at Cafe Clock we are sensitive to their plight, and are doing our best to carry on the film watching tradition in Fez. Our cozy cinema features seats reclaimed from Cinema Astor in the Ville Nouvelle. The seats actually have quite a history, having spent time in both the cinema and Fes et Gestes before coming to the Clock.

Every Monday and Thursday night we screen a movie at 6pm. The fare ranges from Hollywood blockbusters to Bollywood musicals to art house European films and even local Moroccan selections. Additionally, we are happy to open the cinema for anyone who would like to come view a movie of their own. Just speak with the staff and they will assist in preparing the equipment. Our only request is that your party orders off the menu.

    Hey,
This sounds like a really nice idea!
Questions: do you play the movies in their original versions or are they dubbed? Do you have a program?
    Thank you :)
