Last night’s weekly jam session had no fewer than 5 acoustic guitar players strumming, singing and harmonizing away. The bohemian atmosphere created by their music instantly warmed and welcomed you as you entered the café.
Locals and tourists alike sat ‘round the ground floor in small, intimate groups to let the sounds wash over them while sipping their drinks and visiting with friends and fellow travelers. Others leaned over the balcony railings or stood in the large open windows above as they, too, were drawn into the music and harmonious ambiance created by the musicians.
Some patrons sang or hummed along with the tunes, others continued to work on their laptops while their feet unconsciously followed the rhythms of the music. Business was leisurely conducted and new friendships were forged while some just took the opportunity to recount and compare their experiences from a day of sightseeing in the medina and surrounding areas.
